About Me

I graduated in Textile Design, with a Post grad. in secondary education, but that’s only part of the journey. My creativity is born of nature and nurture, sewing or knitting with my Aunties at church, and drawing or painting with my mum. Always re-decorating my bedroom, often doodling in class.

Since graduating, and post-teaching, I have been a self-employed designer for my brand Make Waves studio, creating stylish sustainable textile products for sale at markets and pop-ups here on the Kent coast; and sucessfuly designing/producing custom clothes brands for individuals, brands and charities.

I draw and paint in most mediums, depending on the project or my mood, I particularly enjoy inky illustrations and massive paintings…on the side of a building ideally as The Optimist mural artist. My other street-art is fibre-based, creating large yarn installs with approachable social commentary on environmental and world issues.

“Safe Hands”, that’s how i’d describe myself.

Whatever the project, I work hard, fast and long to get it done. Whether is a painting; illustration brief or print design, you can hire me safe in the knowledge that I will get the job done, beautifully. I believe communication is key, and work closely with clients to fulfil the brief, on-time.
